Advanced Social Journalism looks like a pretty interesting course that will allow Mohawk Journalism students insight into the world of Online Journalism.
Now, this seems pretty key since it is inevitable that the world of Journalism is going online. This wil hopefully make us more employable and give us a competitive edge against other people in the field.
I’m hoping to get a lot out of this course. I’d really like to learn how to podcast and do video blogging. I think this is a great tool to add to my skills. I’d also like to learn how to put together multi-media presentations so if I do some freelancing in the future I’ll know what I’m doing.
I think it’d also be interesting to learn some coding and other basic skills so we have a broader knowledge of these skills and then maybe we can make our own sites to help promote ourselves.
I’m looking forward to learning all about the online world and this class looks to be very rewarding.
